We’re back with our Snapchat series!
After seeing Snapchat lose some of its popularity, Snapchat is now trying to take back its crown with its newly added features.
Snapchat has brought back its feature "Reverse Chronological Order", this feature allows users to see recent stories first on the right side of the application instead of seeing them on the left, this feature replaced a more recent one called "Algorithmically Sorted Feeds" which surfaced into the app's interface in Snapchat’s recent redesign.
What's also worth mentioning is that Snapchat has also launched a free desktop app dubbed Lens Studio last year, which allows users to create their own augmented reality lenses! Doesn’t that sound exciting?!
Now let’s a take a quick look on how to use Snapchat's new Lens Explorer update:
- Tap the new smiley face icon that appears when the Lens Carousel is active
- Tap a Lens tile to unlock one that takes you directly to the Snap Camera
- Or browse through the featured Our Stories and unlock a Lens by swiping up on Snaps in these Stories
- The new Lenses are also available within Search
We hope you enjoyed our Snapchat series! Now we are left to wonder whether these updates are gonna grant Snapchat its reign back or not… Guess we’ll have to stick around and see.
Let us know what you think, do you still use Snapchat?
